My Background

 

 

My name is Christian, and I was born on April 26, 2001. I 

was born in a small city called kediri. My mom gave me the 

name Christian based on her religion because she was 

catholic and the change her religion in to Christianity. My 

second name William means Prince like Prince Williams 

from England because my mother wants me to be like 

prince Williams like his character and charisma. And my 

last name is Hindratno which is that is my father’s name. 

People usually call me Christian but, my Family always 

calls me will.

 

I come from Indonesia, a country that located in South east 

asia. I moved to Chicago because I wanted to study Jazz 

music. I just landed here one month ago. I have been 

studying music since I was seven years old and My Father 

was my first music teacher. I started to study Jazz Music 

since five years ago because I think it is very interesting 

music when the first time I heard that music. And drums is 

my main instrument.

 

Since moving to Chicago, people have no trouble to 

pronounce my name, I am so glad that people in Chicago 

are very friendly. In the first week, I went to the jam session 

where the Jazz Musician have fun together and shows their 

skills. It was a beautiful moment for me because I met a lot 

of new friends that have the same hobby
